How to fight acne: advice on hygiene and effective masks

To fight acne, the most important is in the first instance to have good hygiene!

Manuka honey for acne– Cleansing your skin morning and night (even if you do not wear makeup) with a cleanser to suit your skin.

– Clean it every morning with a cleansing gel.

– Hydration with a day cream and night.

– Always have clean hands when you apply yourself.

– Remember to drink plenty of water daily.

Here are some important tips:

– Do not scratch and press your buttons

– Do not apply lotions containing alcohol

– Do not apply creams too fat

– Do not use harsh soaps

– Avoid excess fats

– Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Some masks effective against acne to choose from depending on your skin type:

Clay and honey mask (special oily skin)


– 3 tablespoons of green clay powder

– 1 tablespoon lemon juice

– 1 tablespoon of honey

Directions for use:

Mix clay, honey and lemon. Applied to the face, leave for 20 minutes then rinse with warm water.

Milk and honey mask (special dry skin)


– 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk

– 2 tablespoons thick honey

– A little heavy cream

Directions for use:

Mix milk and honey with cream. Apply a thick layer on your face. Leave on for 20 minutes then rinse with warm water.

Oatmeal and honey mask (sensitive skin)

oatmeal, honey, yogurt maskIngredients:

– 1 pot of natural yoghurt

– 1/2 pot of oatmeal

– 1 teaspoon of honey

Directions for use:

Mix the ingredients well. Apply this mixture on your face as a mask. Leave for about 10 minutes then rinse with warm water.

Honey mask and primrose (Special mature skin)


– 1 tablespoon of cream

– 2 tablespoons honey

– 2 capsules of evening primrose oil

Directions for use:

Mix the cream and honey. Add capsules of evening primrose oil. Stir this mixture and apply it on your face. Leave on for 20 minutes then rinse.

With the preparation of your choice, gently massage your face for a few minutes making small circular movements. Insist especially on the forehead, nose and chin. Avoid course the fragile area around the eyes. Do not forget your neck and your Neckline. Finally rinse thoroughly with warm water.
