Honey Mask for Dry Skin
Honey has always been extraordinary benefits for the skin, but if like me you have tried to make only a mask with honey, just to enjoy its virtues, so you’re left with honey flowing from face in the neck… honey it may be good for the skin, but it fits!
This mask contains a lot of honey but also of pumpkin seed oil, which gives it that beautiful green color, a decoction of oatmeal to soothe and a little glycerin to moisturize … and thanks to its texture is comfortable to use.
Heat 3 different phases:
- 40g oats decoction for the first phase
- 16g pumpkin seed oil with 7g of emulsifying wax for the second phase
- 35g honey with 5g of glycerin to the third phase
I used hard honey; with liquid honey maybe the mask will be less smooth. The emulsion was no problem, initially liquid, hardened by cooling mask. This gives 100ml of product.
A very pleasant to use mask because it does not dry … I do not like the masks that must be rinsed for 3 hours to remove them.
The ideal time to apply it is after scrubs, 2 times a week.
